Pune Festival To Host Unique “Twins’ Gathering”. Read Details Here.
Pune, August 14, 2025: The 37th Pune Festival, known for its vibrant blend of art, culture, music, dance, and sports, will feature a unique event this year — the Twins’ Gathering. The organising committee has invited twins from Pune and surrounding areas to participate, with free registration now open. The Twins’ Gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir. Entry will be free for all. The event will include an expert medical talk on “The Medical Perspective of Twin Births”, a renowned astrologer’s discourse on “Why Twins’ Futures Differ”, as well as selected personal experiences shared by twins and their parents.
Highlights will also include the felicitation of twins, a special address by representatives from Kodinhi — a village in Kerala’s Malappuram district known as the “Twins’ Capital of the World” due to its unusually high twin birth rate — and video clips from iconic twin-themed films such as Ram Aur Shyam, Seeta Aur Geeta, Judaai, Angoor, Kishen Kanhaiya, and ChaalBaaz. The event will also witness the release of a book dedicated to twins.
