Pune: Fire At Padmavati: Firefighters Contain Blaze On Four-Wheeler
Pune – Today, on July 14, 2024 at 2:56 PM, the fire brigade control room received a report of a fire breaking out in a four-wheeler parked near the Weavers Hall in Padmavati.
Upon receiving the alert, a fire engine was dispatched from the Katraj fire station.
On reaching the scene, the firefighters observed flames emerging from the front part of the vehicle, while fuel was leaking from the rear. They immediately began dousing the fire with water, aiming to bring it under control, and simultaneously used foam to extinguish the blaze completely within ten minutes, eliminating any danger. The vehicle involved was a diesel-powered Ford. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Fire Officer Pradip Khedekar, driver Ganesh Bhandare, and firefighters Pankaj Ingawale, Nilesh Rajivade, Abhishek Khatpe, Yogesh Kumbhar, and Vinayak Ghagre participated in the operation.
