Pimpri, September 15, 2025: Due to the rainfall on September 14 and 15, ten trees fell at different locations across Pimpri Chinchwad city. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Fire Brigade immediately responded and cleared the trees to restore smooth traffic flow.

According to officials, some of the trees had collapsed on houses and compound walls, posing a risk of falling completely and endangering passersby. To prevent accidents, the partially fallen trees were also safely removed.

For two consecutive days, the city witnessed heavy rainfall that caused trees and branches to fall in multiple areas. The Fire Brigade’s central control room received alerts and promptly dispatched teams to the sites. By 4 pm on September 15, a total of ten locations had been cleared.
