Pune: Fire Safety Demo Conducted For School Students By Kondhwa Fire Brigade
Pune, July 24, 2025: As part of its ongoing fire safety awareness initiatives, the Pune Fire Brigade regularly conducts lectures and demonstrations at schools, colleges, hospitals, hotels, malls, multiplexes, government offices, and residential and commercial complexes across the city. These sessions aim to educate the public on do’s and don’ts during fire emergencies and disasters, empowering citizens to respond effectively and assist the fire department when needed.
Today morning, students and teachers from a local school participated in a fire safety awareness session held at the Kondhwa Khurd Fire Station. The event included a lecture and live demonstration on fire safety practices, types and usage of firefighting equipment, and how firefighters handle fires and accidents in different scenarios.
Students responded enthusiastically, engaging actively throughout the session. Teachers expressed their gratitude to Fire Officer Kailas Shinde and the fire brigade team for their efforts.
The Pune Fire Department emphasized its commitment to such awareness programs, stating, “We continuously organize these activities, and the public response has been very positive. It’s important for everyone to be alert and informed so that together, we can help keep our city safe.”
