PUNE: Usha Kakade, the wife of former Rajya Sabha MP and businessman Sanjay Kakade, was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic after allegedly consuming an excessive amount of sleeping pills. Sources indicate that the incident may have been triggered by family-related issues.
However, the hospital has provided a contradictory statement, stating that Usha Kakade was admitted due to food poisoning. Hospital spokesperson Ali Daruwala clarified that there has been no official confirmation of a suicide attempt. The hospital has now discharged her, confirming that her condition is stable and she has completed her treatment.
Sanjay Kakade’s Political and Business Influence
This incident has garnered attention due to Sanjay Kakade’s prominence in both politics and business. A well-established name in Maharashtra’s real estate sector since 1986, he heads the Sanjay Kakade Group, a leading player in construction and infrastructure.
