Pune, 13 October 2025 – The Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Pune in collaboration with Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park recently brought together two of the flagship initiatives—the STEM Fair and the Science Film Festival—for an engaging and impactful celebration of science, technology, and education. This unique convergence of efforts between the PASCH (Schools: Partners for the Future) program and the Cultural Programme Department offered holistic and innovative educational experiences.

Held in partnership with the Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park, the PASCH-STEM Fair welcomed students from PASCH partner schools for a dynamic day of learning and discovery. The event featured a variety of interactive  modules designed to ignite curiosity and excitement in young minds:

– Magic of STEM – An immersive journey into the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
– Fun with Chemistry – Hands-on experiments and demonstrations showcasing the fascinating world of chemistry, presented by Box of Science as an allied activity alongside the film screenings.
– Drone Zone – Take Flight – An opportunity to explore the mechanics and operation of drones.
– Robo-Tech Adventure – Engaging robotics activities that introduced students to programming and problem-solving
– Crisp AI – A peek into the future with explorations into artificial intelligence and its real-world applications
Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park team constituting experts and mentors from Science Park, Kalpakghar, PCCOE student champions, conducted dedicated sessions for students letting them explore the reactions, Drone , stem activities, robotics, AI and Inflatable Taramandal Dome featuring “Day time stars”  in the most participative manner.

Running parallel to the STEM Fair, the Science Film Festival 2025 was officially launched by the Cultural Programme Department of the Goethe-Institut Pune. Celebrating its 9th edition in India, the festival spans 23 countries and runs from October 1 to December 20, focusing on the timely theme of “Green Jobs”. The curated film selection highlighted themes of sustainability, environmental conservation, and innovative solutions for a greener future—encouraging students and educators alike to reflect on the importance of environmentally responsible career paths.

This dual celebration of science and education was not only a platform for interactive learning but also a testament to the Goethe-Institut Pune’s commitment to interdisciplinary cooperation. The close coordination between the PASCH team and the Cultural Department ensured a well-rounded experience, blending language learning, scientific inquiry, and cultural engagement.
