Pune, May 28 – The parents’ wing of the Hindu Mahasangh has raised alarm over the persistent technical glitches in the online admission process for Class 11, submitting a memorandum to Maharashtra Education Minister Dada Bhuse. The delegation, led by Hindu Mahasangh’s founding president Anand Dave and comprising key members including Aditi Joshi, Trupti Tare, Nitin Shukla, Ajit Joshi, Trupti Wakde, Ashwin Wakde, Kavita Doshi, and Aarti Joshi, met the minister at his Mumbai residence.

The group demanded urgent amendments to the existing Government Resolution (GR) governing the admission process. Minister Bhuse reportedly gave a positive response and assured the delegation that the matter would be looked into.

However, with the admission deadline looming on June 3, the parents’ wing has warned of adopting an aggressive stance if the issues are not resolved swiftly. Despite claims by authorities that the process is streamlined like the CET, students continue to face significant hurdles.

Key concerns include frequent website crashes, absence of affiliated colleges in the student’s admission portal, and missing options for colleges located near students’ residences. In addition, the reservation of administrative seats by the government has further limited choices for general applicants, leaving even high-performing students uncertain about securing a seat in reputed colleges.

The Hindu Mahasangh has pledged to stand with parents and students across Maharashtra and has vowed to intensify its campaign if necessary. With growing frustration among families statewide, the organization emphasized that mere assurances are not enough – concrete action is urgently needed to ensure a fair and transparent admission process.
