Pune, August 12, 2025: Bringing pride to Hinjawadi and Maharashtra, young gymnast Nakul Karekar has clinched the Gold Medal in the Gymnastics Trampoline National Championship (Under 12 age group) held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand from 8 to 10 August 2025.
Competing against the country’s best athletes, Nakul delivered an outstanding performance that secured him the top spot on the podium. His achievement marks a major milestone in his sporting journey, and sets the stage for his next big goal — the World Championships.
Nakul is currently training under the expert guidance of Coach Mr. Shrikant Rathod at Shree Sports Academy, Hinjawadi. Known for his discipline, dedication, and relentless practice, Nakul has already become an inspiration to many young aspiring gymnasts.
Speaking about his victory, Nakul said, “This medal is the result of years of hard work and my coach’s constant support. I’m now focused on preparing for the World Championships and making my country proud.”
His parents, Bhavesh and Meghana Karekar, expressed immense pride in their son’s achievement. “Nakul’s success is a reminder that with passion, discipline, and the right guidance, dreams do come true,” said Mr. Karekar.
