Pune Hotel Owner Beaten For Not Serving Pizza At 1:30 AM In Kharadi
In a shocking incident reflecting the growing audacity of criminals in Pune, a hotel owner was brutally beaten by a group of four individuals for not serving pizza past midnight. The incident took place in the Kharadi area on July 28.
According to the police, the hotel had closed for the night, and the owner had left the premises. However, around 1:30 AM, Akshay Pacharane, Amol Satav, Pritam Kulkarni, and Vishal Satav arrived at the closed establishment demanding pizza. Upon being informed that the hotel was closed, the group became enraged and assaulted the driver on duty.
The victim sustained serious injuries from the assault, and a case has been registered against the assailants. The police are actively investigating the matter and have assured swift action against the perpetrators.
This incident is part of a troubling trend in Pune, where violent acts over trivial issues are on the rise. Just days prior, another brutal crime was reported in the city. In the Undri area, a cook named Shubham Shastri Sarkar was killed after allegedly spoiling the taste of the food. The victim was struck with a hammer on his nose and head, leading to his death before medical help could arrive. The Kondhwa police have arrested a suspect in connection with this murder.
These incidents highlight the alarming escalation of violence in Pune and the apparent disregard for law and order among some individuals. The city’s law enforcement agencies are under increasing pressure to address this surge in crime and restore a sense of safety among residents.
Residents and local authorities are calling for stringent measures to curb such incidents and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice swiftly. The police have reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order and are urging the public to report any suspicious activities immediately.
