Pune: Imagica Park Society In Chikhali Becomes Power Self-Reliant With 40 kW Solar Project
Chikhali-Jadhavwadi, Pune – The Imagica Park Cooperative Housing Society has taken a major step towards sustainability by installing a 40-kilowatt solar power project at its own expense.
The initiative has made the society completely energy self-sufficient, eliminating monthly electricity bills and even generating surplus power that will now be purchased by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL).
The solar power project was inaugurated by Sanjeevan Sangle, President of the Housing Society Federation. The event was attended by Society Chairman Prashant Nikhade, committee members, and several residents, who expressed pride and satisfaction over the successful completion of the project.
Speaking at the inauguration, Sangle said, “The solar project established by Imagica Park Society is a remarkable example of harnessing clean, green, and sustainable energy provided by nature. Such initiatives not only help in protecting the environment but also significantly reduce maintenance expenses for societies.”
He further appealed to all housing societies across Pimpri-Chinchwad to adopt solar energy systems to contribute to environmental protection while saving on power costs.
