Pune: Inner Wheel Club Transforms Barren Land into Mini Forest in Khedgaon Taluka
The Inner Wheel Club of Poona Downtown has successfully planted 1,000 rain and fruit trees at the Pandita Rama Bai Mukti Mission in Khedgaon Taluka, Daund. This initiative is part of the club’s ongoing project over the past five years, aimed at transforming barren land into lush green pastures. The efforts have not only improved the greenery but also enhanced the local rainfall patterns.
Through the dedicated work of the club, a mini forest has been created. Club President Daljeet Raizada expressed gratitude to the MLA of Daund, Rahul Kool, Forest Officer Rahul Kale, and the Eco Friendly Foundation for sponsoring many tree saplings. Raizada hopes to see more such green lands in the future, continuing the mission of environmental sustainability.
