Pune: Jharkhand Native Found Dead in Baner, Two Arrested

A labourer was found dead on Meera Residency, Pan Card Club Road, Baner, officials said on Tuesday. The Baner Police is currently investigating the case suspecting foul play. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. The deceased was identified as Sunil Tudu, a 32-year-old resident of Jharkhand.

Police officials reported that on Tuesday noon, a man was found dead at Meera Residency on Pan Card Club Road in Baner. The victim had been strangled with a rope attached to a door. Police said, “The victim arrived in Pune yesterday at 2 PM to work as a helper in a labor camp.

The post-mortem examination is currently being conducted at Sassoon General Hospital. We suspect murder, and arrests have been made.”

This indicates murder. It appears that he was dragged before the murder and someone tried to make it look like suicide. After an initial examination, we suspected that a murder had occurred.

Following our investigation, we arrested two individuals believed to be involved in the case. They were seen with the victim the night before he was found dead. The inquiry is still ongoing, and a murder case is being filed at Baner Police Station. We are awaiting further details.”
