Pune: A new Hyundai plant is coming to Pune. Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, has shared this information, expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a tweet, Fadnavis said, “This is great news for Maharashtra. Hyundai’s upcoming Pune plant will accelerate the state’s development. This plant will be a milestone in Maharashtra’s industrial journey.”

He further stated that the plant would contribute significantly to India’s mobility sector, and that Maharashtra is on its way to becoming a $1 trillion economy. He expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership and continuous support.

Earlier, on Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi met with Hyundai Group’s Executive Chairman, Euisun Chung. Chung expressed Hyundai’s readiness to collaborate with India, citing the country’s favorable environment for business and its new vision. He also extended an invitation to the Prime Minister for the inauguration of the Pune plant.

Chung assured that the Indian government would fully support the Maharashtra government in all aspects related to the plant. This new facility in Pune is expected to generate numerous job opportunities in the region.
