Pune: Kale Padal Police Bust Tipu Pathan Gang’s Illegal Property In Hadapsar; Properties Worth Lakhs Seized
Pune, October 7, 2025: In a major crackdown on organized crime, the Kale Padal Police in Pune have exposed and seized properties worth lakhs belonging to notorious gangster Tipu Pathan and his gang, known for spreading terror in the Hadapsar area.
According to officials, a case had been registered at Kale Padal Police Station under IPC Sections 308(2), 329(3), 351(2), 352, 189(1), 189(2), 191(2), 61(2), 111, and various provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) of 1999, including Sections 3(1)(II), 3(2), 3(4), and 23(1)(a). The investigation, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (Wanawadi Division), revealed that Tipu Pathan and his associates had amassed significant wealth through illegal activities.
During the operation, the police seized one Innova car, three two-wheelers, and demolished an unauthorized office structure owned by Pathan in the Sayyednagar area with assistance from the Pune Municipal Corporation. A search at the gangster’s residence also led to the discovery of valuable documents, luxury items, and gold ornaments.
The operation was carried out under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5) Rajkumar Shinde, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Wanawadi Division) Dhanyakumar Godse, and Senior Police Inspector of Kale Padal Police Station Mansing Patil.
The police team included API Amit Shete, PSI Amar Kalange, and constables Pravin Kalbhor, Dawood Sayyed, Pratik Lahigude, Vishal Thombre, Shahid Shaikh, Laxman Kale, Atul Pandharkar, Nitin Dhole, Saddam Tamboli, Pradeep Wediskar, and Mahadev Shinde.
Senior Police Inspector Mansing Patil praised the team’s efforts, calling the operation a significant achievement in the ongoing campaign against organized crime in Pune.
