Pune: Kalepadal Police Crack Burglary Case, Arrest Accused and Recover Stolen Property Worth ₹9.22 Lakh
Pune, October 1, 2025 – The Kalepadal Police team achieved a major breakthrough by arresting a burglar involved in a housebreaking case and recovering stolen property worth ₹9.22 lakh, including gold ornaments, a two-wheeler, and a mobile phone.
The case (Kalepadal Police Station Crime Register No. 375/2025 under IPC Sections 305, 331(3)) was registered after a burglary at a flat in Pisoli-Undri-Katraj Kondhwa Road area. During investigation, police officers noticed blood stains at the crime scene. Forensic samples were collected, and footage from 72 CCTV cameras across Banka Sapphire Society, Ambika Hotel Road, and nearby areas was analyzed.
The accused was identified through CCTV footage and mobile tracking. A technical analysis revealed his location in Kondhwa, where police detained him. He was identified as Mustafa Shakeel Ansari, 41, a driver residing in Kondhwa.
Under the guidance of DCP Rajkumar Shinde, ACP Dhanyakumar Godse, and Senior PI Mansing Patil, the investigation team led by officers Amit Shete, Pravin Kalbhor, Dawood Sayyed, Pratik Lahigude, and others successfully solved the case.
