Pune: Kasba MLA Hemant Rasane Takes Early Morning Tour To Address Water Supply Issues From Constituency
Pune: Hemant Rasane, the newly elected MLA from Kasba constituency, has begun tackling key civic issues immediately after his election. Following the launch of the “Clean Kasba” campaign last week, Rasane conducted an early morning inspection on water supply problems in the area on Friday.
Accompanied by Pune Municipal Corporation’s Water Supply Department Head, Nandkumar Jagtap, Rasane visited several locations, interacted with citizens, and instructed officials to resolve grievances promptly.
“My priority is ensuring Kasba residents face no hardships. Today’s inspection covered areas with irregular water timings, low-pressure supply, and sporadic availability. These issues will be resolved soon,” said Rasane.
Highlighting the public’s trust, he added, “With 90,000 votes cast in favor of the Mahayuti alliance, I am committed to addressing citizens’ concerns. A six-month timeline has been set to resolve primary challenges, including sanitation and traffic management.”
An elderly resident, impressed by the MLA’s 7 AM tour, called him “the first MLA in 70 years” to undertake such an initiative and expressed confidence in his efforts to improve water supply.
The tour saw participation from Mandal President Rajendra Kakde, former corporators, local officials, party workers, and residents.
