Pune: Kendriya Vidyalaya Army Area Celebrates 62nd Foundation Day with Creativity and Enthusiasm
On Friday, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Army Area celebrated the 62nd Foundation Day of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan with great enthusiasm. Students showcased an exhibition on economics and cultural performances inspired by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event beautifully intertwined Indian culture with the vision of sustainable development.
The event was inaugurated by the chief guest, Lieutenant Colonel Lalit Kaunsal, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The students welcomed the dignitaries with a soulful rendition of Ganesh Vandana and a welcome song, creating a devotional and vibrant atmosphere.
The school principal, Dr. Malvika Malik, extended a heartfelt welcome to the chief guest, dignitaries, alumni, and former teachers. Senior art teacher Mr. Lahu Kale reminisced with alumni, reviving fond memories.

The highlight of the program was the mesmerizing cultural performances by students, which effectively emphasized the importance of SDGs. These performances reflected the creativity of Kendriya Vidyalaya students and their potential to revive India’s golden traditions. The captivating presentations inspired the audience and symbolized a bright future for the students.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Balasaheb Gaikwad and Mr. Pravin Shinde, expressing gratitude to all attendees.
