Local residents have raised concerns about the threat to lives and urged the National Highway authorities to take immediate action. Shiv Sena leader Ulhas Tupe, Pune District Head, emphasized the urgency of repairs, warning that if action is not taken promptly, letters will be sent to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to demand accountability and strict action against responsible officials.

The situation calls for immediate intervention to prevent potential accidents and save lives. Meanwhile, travelers using the Tamhini Ghat route are advised to drive cautiously to ensure their safety.
