A major fire broke out early this morning at a speaker manufacturing factory in Manjari, Pune. The facility, spread across 6,000 square feet, was engulfed in flames, prompting a swift response from the fire departments. Fire brigades from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) worked together to bring the situation under control.

According to Pramod Sonawane from Pune Fire Brigade, the fire started in the early hours and quickly spread within the factory premises. Upon receiving the alert, two fire tenders each from PMRDA and the central fire brigade were deployed to tackle the blaze. Additionally, five to six water tankers were used to douse the flames and prevent further damage.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as all workers and staff were safely evacuated. However, the factory sustained significant damage, with machinery and raw materials destroyed in the incident. Fire officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
