Commuters traveling through the newly built underground corridor connecting Pune District Court and Swargate have been facing difficulties with mobile connectivity. The issue has affected their ability to make calls and utilize mobile data for ticket payments. This problem has persisted since the Budhwar Peth, Mandai, and Swargate Metro stations opened on September 29, following a virtual inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Daily commuters have expressed concerns over the poor network connectivity. A regular traveler, emphasized that Pune Metro should prioritize resolving mobile network issues. “Pune Metro should address mobile network issues and resolve them on a priority basis,” he said.

The affected stretch includes the underground corridor between Pune District Court and Swargate, part of Pune Metro’s Corridor 1. This corridor spans from PCMC to Swargate, covering key stations like Shivaji Nagar, Kasba Peth, and Mandai.
