Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol Launches City’s First 24×7 Digital Citizen Service Office

Pune, July 11, 2025: Aiming to provide round-the-clock assistance to citizens on matters related to Central and State Government services, MP Murlidhar Mohol’s state-of-the-art, fully computerized 24×7 Citizen Service Office is set to open on Jangli Maharaj Road, opposite Chhatrapati Sambhaji Garden. Designed as a citizen-centric initiative, the office promises to address day-to-day issues effectively.
The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday, July 12 at 3:30 pm by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. BJP State President Ravindra Chavan, State Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, and Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal will attend the event. BJP State General Secretary Rajesh Pandey announced the details at a press conference.
As part of the ceremony, Chief Minister Fadnavis will also release Mohol’s one-year performance report at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir. In addition, Mohol’s book based on his experiences during the COVID-19 period will be launched, and two modern ambulances will be dedicated. This event marks Ravindra Chavan’s first visit to Pune in his capacity as State BJP President, and he will be felicitated by the city BJP unit.
The Citizen Service Office features fully computerized systems with dedicated counters for various services, including grievance redressal for Central and State Government departments, and local bodies like Pune Municipal Corporation, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, and PMRDA.

- Maha E-Seva Kendra for instant certificates and documents

- Specialized support for differently-abled citizens, senior citizens, and students
The office’s distinctive feature lies in its digital-first approach, enabling citizens to use e-document submissions, digital tokens, and virtual consultation services to avoid long queues.

“This office is designed to make government services accessible and citizen-friendly. It removes the hurdles faced by people due to bureaucratic systems and lack of information. It’s a step towards strengthening democratic values by offering all government services under one roof, 24×7,” said Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation, Murlidhar Mohol.
