Pune: Muzaffarpur-Hadapsar Special Train To Run As Regular Express Service
Pune, October 3, 2025 – For the convenience of passengers, the Ministry of Railways has approved the regularization of the special train service running between Muzaffarpur and Hadapsar (Pune). The service, which previously operated as a special train (05289/05290), will now run as a regular weekly express with the new number 15589/15590.
The regular service will commence from Muzaffarpur on October 6, 2025, and from Hadapsar on October 8, 2025, and will run until further notice.
The details of the regular express train are as follows:
– Train No. 15589/15590 Muzaffarpur – Hadapsar – Muzaffarpur Weekly Express
Train No. 15589 will depart from Muzaffarpur at 19:25 hrs every Monday, arriving at Hadapsar (Pune) at 06:25 hrs on the third day.
Train No. 15590 will depart from Hadapsar (Pune) at 10:00 hrs every Wednesday, arriving at Muzaffarpur at 21:50 hrs the next day.
Composition: The train will have 22 LHB coaches, including eight AC 2-Tier, twelve AC 3-Tier Economy, and two Generator Cars.
Halts: Hajipur, Sonpur, Patliputra, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Maihar, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahilyanagar, and Daund Chord Line.
Withdrawal of Special Service:
With the introduction of this regular service, the special train No. 05289 will be withdrawn with effect from October 6, 2025, and train No. 05290 will be withdrawn with effect from October 8, 2025.
Passengers are requested to take note of this regularization and the new train numbers.
