Pune, September 12, 2025: MLA Bapusaheb Pathare of Vadgaonsheri constituency, along with Additional Commissioner Of Police Manoj Patil, inspected the Pune-Nagar Road to assess pedestrian safety and the challenges faced by citizens while crossing the road.

During the review, Pathare demanded the installation of pedestrian signals and proper signboards at U-turns on the road. Discussions were also held regarding the development of the metro station parking at Ramwadi and the U-turn at Khulewadi Corner. Measures for improving traffic management at Dargah Chowk and Jakat Naka in Kharadi were also considered.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Pathare said, “Citizen safety on roads is the top priority. Improvements in pedestrian pathways and U-turn management will ensure safe and convenient travel. We expect the traffic police administration to implement these measures urgently.”

Additional Police Commissioner Patil responded positively, assuring that concrete steps will be taken to enhance road safety and traffic management.

The review was also attended by DCP (Traffic) Himmat Jadhav, Police Inspectors Ravindra Kadam, Sangeeta Jadhav, Yuvraj Nandre, API Dattatraya Ligade, former corporator Mahendra Pathare, Bhaiyyasaheb Jadhav, Executive Engineer Sanjay Dharav from the PWD, and other junior engineers.
