Pune: New Sujata Cooperative Housing Society On Bund Garden Road Marks Golden Jubilee Anniversary
The New Sujata Cooperative Housing Society, Bund Garden, Pune, commemorated its 50th Golden Jubilee Anniversary with a vibrant two-day celebration on May 24 and 25, 2025.
Festivities began on Saturday with a devotional Sunderkand Path, followed by the felicitation of young academic achievers. A lively cultural program showcasing talent across generations reflected the society’s unity and spirit.
Sunday’s program, anchored by Purnima Shinde, opened with a graceful Ganesh Vandana by Shivesh and his daughter Swara. A heartfelt tribute was paid to departed members, followed by a nostalgic short film Down Memory Lane by Ajit More.
The event was graced by the Naiknavare and Choudhry families, eminent developers apart from Babu and Vanita Vagaskar, Laxminarayan and architect, Ravi Kadam. A society catalogue was launched by Anand Naiknavare.
The grand finale featured a captivating orchestra by Prof. Shashank Divekar and his group.
Conceptualized and organized by Hutoxi Welinkar and the Managing Committee, the Golden Jubilee celebrated Sujata’s proud legacy while ushering in a new era of renewal and growth.
