The meeting, which covered a wide range of sectors, placed a strong emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into developmental frameworks, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing productivity across industries. Ajit Pawar, through his official X handle, shared key decisions made during the meeting.
One of the major announcements included the allocation of 300 acres of land in Talegaon for the establishment of a Tool Hub, aimed at supporting the manufacturing and industrial sector. Additionally, the land acquisition process for the Purandar airport was marked as a top priority, indicating renewed momentum in the long-pending project.
The Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporations were directed to initiate a gas production project using organic waste, aligning with the government’s push for green energy solutions. Infrastructure enhancements such as mapping Development Plan (DP) roads, road concreting, widening, and upgrades to various city services were also discussed.

Other critical areas of focus included agriculture, tourism, and industrial development, with the government encouraging private investment, advancing AI usage in agriculture, improving transportation networks, and expediting the acquisition of land for ring roads.
Plans to expand Pune airport’s runway, build bio-energy plants, and extend metro rail connectivity were also part of the agenda, aimed at supporting the city’s growing population and economic activities.
Ajit Pawar stressed the importance of inter-departmental collaboration to ensure the success of these initiatives, underscoring the collective vision to transform Pune into a slum-free, export-driven, and technologically advanced urban hub as part of Maharashtra’s broader development strategy.
