Pune News: Alandi Police Dispose Of Confiscated Liquor Worth ₹4.31 Lakhs From 70 Cases

In compliance with the Maharashtra government’s initiative to simplify administrative processes and improve citizens’ daily lives, the Alandi Police Station has successfully disposed of confiscated liquor from 70 prohibition cases.

Under the guidance of senior officials, the operation was conducted in adherence to legal protocols. The seized material included domestic, foreign-made, and locally brewed liquor valued at ₹4,31,963. Reports were submitted to the Judicial Magistrate First Class in Rajgurunagar, Pune, and necessary permissions were obtained for disposal.

In coordination with the Excise Department, the disposal process was overseen by Officer Sagar Divekar from the department. The event took place on January 28, 2025 at Alandi Police Station.

The initiative was executed under the direction of Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey, Joint Commissioner Dr. Shashikant Mahawarkar, Additional Commissioner Vasant Pardeshi, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shivaji Pawar, and Assistant Commissioner Rajendra Singh Gaur of Pimpri-Chinchwad City.
