Pune News: Bangiya Samsad Nagar Road (BSNR) In Viman Nagar Marks 20th Year Of Durga Puja With Blood Donation DriveÂ
Bangiya Samsad Nagar Road (BSNR) is a registered charitable non-profit making organization, celebrating its 20th year of “Shree Shree Durga Puja” at Symbiosis Institute Ground, Vimannagar. This year, the Durgapuja celebration started with the Social Activity of organizing Blood Donation Camp in association with Nobel at our Puja Pandal on 6th Oct 2024.
Bidhan Datta from the organisation said, “Like every year this year too we will celebrate our Sri Sri Durga Puja with Annadan (free distribution of food/ Mahabhog) to everyone irrespective of caste and creed on 10th, 11th and 12th of October at our puja pandal. We are expecting approximately 2000 people everyday, for all 3 days. “
He said “We worship Devi Durga with full devotion, Arati , Havan and other rituals. We organize various cultural competitions, traditional Dhunuchi Naach, Sankha-Dhawni, Ulu-dhawni ete. Special attraction of this year is that on the cultural evening program on 11th October, Mr. Tirtha Bhattacharya, ZEE Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma fame and on 12th October Mr. Pranay Mazumdar, Star Jalsa 1st runner-up will perform along with their teams. Both of them are very famous and renowned singers from Kolkata.”
We worship Maa Durga together and seek her blessings and also to spread the message of joy and harmony to mankind. Through these celebrations, we also spread peace and unity, love and affection, and environmental consciousness as a part of social responsibilities.
On this auspicious occasion, we will celebrate the traditional “Sindur Khela Utsav” on 13th October. Here, I would like to mention that on this “Sindur Khela Utsab,” we cordially invite Transgenders to participate along with us.
