In a shocking incident in Pune’s Hadapsar area, an elderly woman was robbed at knifepoint near Magarpatta Chowk. Two suspects have been booked in connection with the crime.

According to the complaint filed at the Hadapsar Police Station, the victim, a senior citizen residing in the Bhosale Garden area, was on her way to Command Hospital in Wanawadi on January 22. Around 3 PM, while waiting for an autorickshaw near the flyover close to Mahadev Temple in Magarpatta Chowk, two men approached her. Brandishing a knife, they threatened her and fled with her belongings, including gold jewelry worth ₹42,000 and a wallet containing cash.

Terrified by the incident, the woman immediately reported the matter to the police, who visited the site to investigate. CCTV footage from the area is being analyzed, and efforts are underway to track down the culprits. Police Sub-Inspector Mahesh Kawale is leading the investigation.
