Pune News: Fire At Saiba Hotel Near K K Market Near Dhanakwadi; One Worker Dies In Tragic Incident Â

A fire broke out at Saiba Hotel near KK Market, Dhanakawdi, at around 4:14 PM. Upon receiving the alert, fire tenders from Katraj and Gangadham fire stations were dispatched. Firefighters arrived at the scene and learned that a worker was trapped inside. They immediately began spraying water, rescued the injured worker, and rushed him to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, they managed to extinguish the fire completely, preventing further danger.
The fire caused damage to two adjacent shops, but timely intervention stopped it from spreading further. All hotel equipment was destroyed in the blaze. Preliminary information suggests that the fire was triggered by a gas leak from a cylinder while milk was being heated. Unfortunately, the worker was unable to escape in time.
There were a total of eight gas cylinders at the site, three of which had significant gas leaks. For safety reasons, the fire department secured them.
Sadly, the hospital later confirmed that the injured worker had succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not yet been determined. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
