Pune News: Illegal Tobacco Shops Demolished Near Vibgyor School In NIBM Annexe In Mohammadwadi
Pune, January 29, 2025 – Acting on reports of illegal tobacco sales near Vibgyor School in Raheja Vista, a police team from Kalepadal Police Station, led by Senior Inspector Manasing Patil, conducted a crackdown. During the operation, five roadside stalls selling cigarettes and tobacco products within a 100-200 meter radius of the school were found violating regulations.
The illegal stalls were demolished using a JCB machine, and cases were registered against the shop owners under relevant laws. Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to keeping tobacco products away from school zones to ensure student safety.
