Pune: According to reports, an employee in Pune allegedly assaulted his boss and also damaged his iPhone after being removed from the office WhatsApp group. The incident took place on December 1 at Insta Go Private Limited, located on the Old Mundhwa Road.
As per information, the local police station received a complaint from the victim identified as Amol Seshrao Dhoble, the owner of the company, leading to the registration of a case against the accused, who was also an employee, identified as Satyam Shingvi. The case was filed under four distinct sections of the penal code.
The complaints lodged against Shingvi by numerous customers and the concerns raised about his behaviour were acknowledged by the police authorities. Despite multiple efforts made to address these concerns, no improvement was observed. Consequently, Dhoble had no choice but to exclude him from the office WhatsApp group.
The employee, driven by the omission, confronted his boss and demanded an explanation for being excluded from the group. Shingvi entered the office with a bamboo stick and physically attacked his boss while also causing damage to his iPhone. Police are further investigating the case.
