Pune News: Massive Fire Engulfs Plastic Factory in Bhosari MIDC, No Casualties Reported
Pimpri:Â A major fire broke out on Sunday at the Rishi Poly Bond plastic molding factory located in Sector 10 of Bhosari MIDC industrial area. The blaze completely destroyed the factory. Fortunately, since Sunday is a holiday for workers, there were no casualties reported. Efforts to control the fire continued until late at night.
The fire erupted around 6:45 PM, rapidly spreading due to the presence of plastic materials in the factory. Upon receiving the alert, fire brigade teams from all local centers, along with support from PCMC, Tata Motors, Bajaj Motors, PMRDA and private companies, dispatched 15 to 20 fire tenders to the site.
The absence of workers in the factory prevented a potential loss of life. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Authorities are investigating the incident to ascertain the reason behind the blaze.
