Pune, September 16, 2025 – The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced a mega block on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway for essential maintenance work. The traffic block will be in effect on Tuesday, September 16, from 2 PM to 3 PM, during which all vehicular movement on a key stretch will remain completely halted.

According to officials, the work involves repairs of the 22 KV Bhatan–Ajivali line near the Kon Bridge, between 9.600 km and 9.700 km markers. Balwadkar
  • Vehicles can divert via Kalamboli Circle → JNPT Road D-Point → Palaspe, and then continue on National Highway (NH) 48.
