Pune: The Erandwane Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal celebrated National Youth Day today at Karve Road, paying tribute to Rajmata Jijau and Swami Vivekananda on their birth anniversaries. Floral offerings were made to their portraits, followed by a program addressing the pressing issues faced by graduate youth in India.

Highlighting the gravity of the situation, the Mandal showcased a depiction titled *”A Graduate Youth Driven to Suicide”* from 10 AM to 2 PM. This thought-provoking display shed light on the alarming statistics: approximately 200,000 graduate youth in India die by suicide annually due to unemployment, devastating countless families. The initiative aimed to draw public and government attention to this crisis.
