Pimpri, August 11, 2025 : In a major boost to citizen convenience, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) online service for issuing ‘No Tax Dues Certificates’ for properties has crossed 64,000 users since its launch in March 2022. From April to July 2025 alone, 13,213 citizens have used the platform.

The certificate, which confirms that no property tax is pending against a particular property, was earlier issued only through physical applications at PCMC offices – often requiring multiple visits, consuming time, and causing inconvenience. To streamline the process, PCMC’s Property Tax Department introduced the online facility on the corporation’s official website, enabling property owners to download the certificate instantly, free of cost.

The service has proved to be a hit among citizens, who can now get the document within minutes from the comfort of their homes by simply entering their registered mobile number or property ID, authenticating via OTP, and downloading the certificate directly.

“The online service has removed a major inconvenience for citizens. Earlier, they had to spend time and effort visiting our offices, but now they can obtain the certificate in minutes from home. We are working to make this service even simpler and more useful.”
