Pune News: PCMC Advances Hoarding Flex Removal Amid Pre-Monsoon Rain Alert

In the jurisdiction of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), the Sky Sign and Licensing Department is responsible for granting permissions for new advertisement hoardings and renewing existing ones. Currently, advertisement hoardings have been installed across all areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad city.

The department has carried out structural stability inspections and safety assessments of these hoardings. 

As part of pre-monsoon safety measures, several steps have been undertaken by the hoarding owners and the Sky Sign and Licensing Department.

“In continuation of these efforts, all hoarding owners have been instructed to remove the flex materials from their hoardings between May 25, 2025 and June 7, 2025. However, in light of the recent experience of heavy pre-monsoon rainfall over the last two days, the process of removing flex materials has already begun from May 22, 2025,” said Rajesh Agale, Deputy Commissioner.
