Pune News : PMPML App Launch Faces Delays, Eagerly Awaited Features to Enhance Commuter Experience
The much-awaited mobile application of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) is getting delayed, missing earlier deadlines.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Satish Gate, PRO, PMPML, said “Working on the PMPML app is going on in full swing. Trial runs for the app are being conducted frequently. Once the final trial of the app is done, the app will get launched. Till that time, currently there is no clarity as such about when the app will get launched for public use. Rest assured, we will announce the launch date of the app soon.”
Earlier deadline of the app launch was November 2023, however, the app is still conspicuously absent even after 2 months’ conclusion
The PMPML app will be designed to provide bus information and facilitate ticket purchases from the comfort of one’s home.
Apart from only ticket booking, other facilities can also be availed through the app. The move will help passengers manage their time effectively.
A proposal had been given to the Central Bank of India for the payment gateway for passengers to book tickets online from the app
