Pune, March 17, 2025: A group of 7-8 youths armed with sticks and swords created chaos near Kaizen Society in Balewadi on the night of March 15. They vandalized vehicles on the road and attempted to intimidate residents. Witnessing the incident, alert citizen Mohit Gugale immediately informed the Baner Police Station about the situation.

Acting swiftly, Senior Police Inspector Navnath Jagtap and his team, under the guidance of ACP Vitthal Dabde, launched an investigation. Within a few hours, the accused were traced and arrested in Wakad.

Residents of Balewadi have expressed their gratitude to ACP Dabde, Inspector Jagtap, and the officers of Baner Police Station for their prompt response and effective action. Many locals appreciated the efficiency of the police force in maintaining law and order.

Notably, just last week, at a police-citizen interaction event organized by the Balewadi Welfare Federation, Inspector Jagtap had assured that under the “Zero Tolerance to Crime” initiative, the Baner-Balewadi area would be made crime-free and safe. The quick resolution of this case has reinforced public confidence in law enforcement.
