The incident took place around noon, shocking passersby and raising serious concerns about safety practices at the construction site. The incident took place near Oasis restaurant in Pune Camp area.
According to eyewitnesses, no proper safety measures were being followed at the site when the mishap occurred. Locals claimed that despite the ongoing construction activity in a crowded area, there was little to no use of protective equipment or barricading, putting workers and civilians at risk.
