Pune, May 11, 2025: Residents of Parge Nagar came together today for a peaceful protest demanding urgent repairs to a long-neglected road in their area. With a spirit inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, locals transformed the protest site into a space of creativity and unity through rangoli art and floral decorations.

The event drew strong community participation, sending a clear message to the authorities about the citizens’ concern and commitment to local development. The protest was further strengthened by the presence of former MLA Mahadev Babar, whose support was appreciated by the gathering.

PMC Officer Sandeep Dipke also visited the site and held a dialogue with residents. After listening to their grievances, he assured the community that road repair work will be completed before next Sunday. His response brought hope to residents who have long been affected by the poor condition of the road.
