Pune: Passport Mobile Camp In Narayangaon Extended To September 19Â
Pune, September 15, 2025: The Regional Passport Office (RPO) Pune, under the Ministry of External Affairs’ initiative to improve accessibility and speed up passport services, organized a Passport Mobile Camp at Narayangaon, Junnar from September 10 to 12, 2025. The camp received a strong response from applicants, leading to a public demand for its continuation. To further enhance convenience and last-mile delivery of services, the mobile passport van facility has now been extended for three additional days, from September 17 to 19, 2025.
The camp will operate from Muktai Samaj Mangal Karyalay, Narayangaon, Taluka Junnar, Pune, Maharashtra – 410504. Both adult and minor applicants are advised to carefully review the prescribed document checklists before submitting their applications online. As per the Passports Act, 1967 and Passport Rules, 1980, the Passport Authority may conduct necessary verifications and seek additional documents to ensure the genuineness of applications.
Applicants seeking appointments for the mobile van service must visit the official Passport Seva website (www.passportindia.gov.in). After completing the application under the Normal scheme and making the payment, applicants should proceed to the “Schedule Appointment” section. Here, they need to select the location as “Mobile Van, Narayangaon” to confirm their booking.
The extension of the mobile passport camp is expected to significantly benefit residents of Narayangaon and nearby areas by saving them the travel time to Pune city for passport-related services. This initiative is part of the government’s continuous efforts to make passport issuance more efficient, citizen-friendly, and easily accessible.
