State-of-the-art building to centralize services, boost efficiency and set new sustainability benchmark
Pimpri: Construction of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) new administrative headquarters is progressing swiftly, with 62% of the work already completed. Launched in January 2023, the ambitious project aims to bring all municipal offices under one roof, streamline citizen services, and enhance overall administrative efficiency.
The structure, being built over a sprawling 8.65-acre plot, will feature a total built-up area of 91,459 square metres. Key milestones—such as the completion of the three basement levels and construction up to the third floor—have already been achieved. The project is scheduled to be completed within 36 months at an estimated cost of Rs 312.20 crore.
The upcoming complex is designed to serve not just as an administrative hub but as a modern civic landmark. It will house a Citizen Facilitation Centre, a multi-purpose hall, a museum, an exhibition gallery, an e-governance centre, and other advanced facilities.
Green and Future-Ready
With sustainability at its core, the building is being developed to meet the 5-star rating under the GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) and the Platinum rating from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). It will incorporate renewable energy through solar power systems, water recycling mechanisms, and expansive green spaces—contributing to a more eco-friendly urban footprint.

Public facilities (Ground Floor):
Library: 125 sq. m
Exhibition Hall / Museum: 380 sq. m
