Pune: PMC Demolishes Illegal Structures Over 15000 Sq Ft In Kondhwa
Pune, September 12, 2025:
In a major anti-encroachment drive, a special squad appointed by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) carried out action against unauthorized constructions in Kondhwa Khurd on Friday.
The operation targeted two buildings—one with P+5 floors and another with P+4 floors—spanning nearly 15,000 sq. ft. of illegal RCC construction at Shivneri Nagar, Lane No. 1.
The demolition team included 10 labourers, 5 police personnel, 1 JCB, 4 breakers, 2 gas cutters, 6 junior engineers, and 3 deputy engineers.
Following the partial demolition, the structures have been declared unsafe.
PMC has cautioned citizens not to use the buildings or purchase flats in these properties.
