Pune: PMC Serves Notice To Suzlon Over Alleged Unlicensed Eatery At Amanora Township
Pune, May 5: Wind energy firm Suzlon has been issued a notice by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for allegedly operating a commercial eatery without proper licenses in the residential premises of Amanora Township. The eatery is reportedly managed by Neomis Hospitality, a catering firm hired by Suzlon, which allegedly lacks the required food and commercial permits.
The notice follows a complaint by Deepak Kumar, a former cook, who alleged that food services at Suzlon’s guest house in Villas 8 and 9 of Amanora Township were being run illegally, along with improper garbage disposal. A site inspection by PMC confirmed the absence of valid licenses, prompting the civic body to demand documentation from both Suzlon and Neomis Hospitality within two days.
Health Inspector Anil Damale stated that legal action would be initiated if the parties fail to comply. He also mentioned an investigation into claims that the complainant faced threats.
