Pune: PMC Special Squad Demolishes 20,000 Sq Ft of Illegal Constructions in Kondhwa
Pune, August 13, 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) special squad carried out a demolition drive against illegal constructions in Kondhwa Budruk and Inam Nagar areas.
In Kondhwa Budruk, at Survey No. 6 (Part), Ajmera Park, Galli No. 2, an unauthorized ground-plus-six-floor RCC building was targeted. Similarly, in Inam Nagar at Survey Nos. 15 (Part) and 16 (Part), a ground-plus-eight-floor RCC structure was demolished.
In total, around 20,000 square feet of unauthorized construction was razed during the operation.
The demolition was executed by the special squad appointed by PMC, under the supervision of the Executive Engineer. The team included one Deputy Engineer, five Junior Engineers, ten labourers, three police personnel, five MSF members, one JCB, four breakers, and two gas cutters.
