Pune: PMPML Launches E-Bus Service From Wagholi To Hinjawadi Phase 3
Pune, July 25, 2025: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPML) inaugurated a new bus route (No. 328) connecting Wagholi to Hinjawadi Maan Phase 3, aiming to provide commuters with a fast, comfortable, and eco-friendly travel option.
The inaugural ceremony was held at 10:00 AM and was led by Vadgaon Sheri MLA Bapu Pathare. The new route will feature four smart AC electric buses, operating at one-hour intervals throughout the day.
Prominent attendees at the event included Sandeep Satav, Shantaram Katke, and Pandharinath Katke, PMPML Deputy Managing Director Nitin Narvekar, and Chief Executive Officer Asha Raut. Senior PMPML officials such as Chief Transport Manager (Operations) Satish Gawhane, Traffic Planning Officer Narayan Karde, PRO Kishor Chauhan, and Wagholi Depot Manager Vijaykumar Madge were also present, along with local residents and commuters.

PMPML stated that the new route is designed to improve daily connectivity between the eastern and western parts of Pune, especially for those working in the Hinjawadi IT Park. The public is encouraged to take full advantage of the newly launched service.
