Pune: PMRDA Halts Construction Of Joyville Shapoorji Housing and Yellowstone Skyscrapers In Mulshi Over Lack of Access Road
Pimpri, October 9, 2025: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has ordered a halt to construction at two residential projects in Maan, Mulshi after developers failed to provide residents with proper access roads and other essential facilities.
The directive was issued by PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase on Thursday, following complaints from homeowners and site inspections by the Development Permission Department.
Residents of a housing project on Pathak Road, Maan had complained that there was no proper road for entering or exiting the project. Acting on these complaints, under the supervision of Director Avinash Patil, PMRDA conducted a site inspection and later held a joint meeting with residents and developer representatives.
They were instructed to provide a usable road for residents as per the project conditions. However, ignoring these directions led to the suspension of construction for Joyville Shapoorji Housing Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Yellowstone Skyscrapers LLP.
Action Against Encroachers
Complaints were also received regarding heavy encroachments along the main road leading to The One Cooperative Housing Society in Bhugav, Mulshi, which hindered residents’ movement.
Following a site inspection, the Metropolitan Commissioner has directed that criminal cases be registered against the encroachers responsible.
