Pune Police Department Reshuffles Leadership: New Appointments For Key DCP RolesÂ
In a recent reshuffle within the Pune Police Department, four Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP) have been transferred. Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar issued the transfer orders.
Nikhil Pingale has been appointed as the DCP of the Crime Branch. He previously served as the Superintendent of Police in Gondia and Latur. Amol Zende, formerly the DCP of the Crime Branch, has been moved to the Traffic Branch.
Rajkumar Shinde, who was with the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Nanded, has now been appointed as the DCP at the Police Headquarters. G. Sridhar, the Superintendent of Police in Hingoli, will take over as the DCP of the Special Branch.
Himmat Jadhav, who was serving as the DCP in the Special Branch, has been transferred to the DCP of the Pune Police Commissionerate’s Division Four.
Additionally, Vivek Masal, the Commandant of the State Reserve Police Force in Gadchiroli, has been appointed as the DCP for the Economic and Cyber Crime Branch.
These changes reflect a strategic realignment within the department to better address various challenges and improve efficiency in different branches of the police force.
