Pune Police Release Sketches of Suspects in Bopdev Ghat Gang-Rape Case, Seek Public Help

Pune News: ₹ 10 Lakh Reward For Information On Bopdev Ghat Gang Rape Case Suspects: Police Interrogate 200 People
In connection with the Bopdev Ghat gang-rape case, the Pune Police have released sketches of two of the three suspects and are seeking assistance from the public to help identify them. The incident reportedly took place around 11 pm on Thursday night.

According to the police, the woman involved had been in the area with a male companion. A senior police official mentioned that the victim and her friend were attacked by three unknown assailants. The attackers allegedly beat the woman’s companion, tied him to a tree, and then raped the woman in a secluded spot. Following the assault, the victim was taken to a hospital, where she provided a statement to the authorities. Multiple police teams have been mobilized to track down the perpetrators.
