Pune, September 27, 2025: The Wagholi area is all set to witness one of its most anticipated cultural events as the Prangan Association prepares to host its 8th Annual Durga Pooja celebration. Since its inception in 2018, the festival has grown from a modest gathering to a landmark event, drawing devotees and culture enthusiasts from across Pune.
What started as the first-ever Durga Pooja in Wagholi has now evolved into a vibrant celebration that blends devotion, culture, and social initiatives. This year’s festivities promise a diverse lineup of activities designed to engage all age groups and communities.

Highlights include a Blood Donation Camp, emphasizing health and community welfare, and a Drawing Competition for Children, encouraging young minds to express their creativity. For the first time, the traditional Dhunuchi Naach will be open to all visitors, inviting everyone to partake in the rhythmic celebrations.
Children from the Prangan family will also present an energetic Drama Performance, while budding musicians from Melody Music Studio will light up the stage in a dedicated Musical Talent Show. The celebrations will reach their crescendo on Navami Night (October 1, 2025) with a grand live orchestra performance by Anjan Ghosh, promising an unforgettable evening for attendees.
True to its philanthropic spirit, the association will continue its annual tradition of donating to a local orphanage, reinforcing the festival’s focus on giving back to society.
With devotion, culture, and community at its heart, the Prangan Association Durga Pooja has become more than just a festival—it is a celebration that unites people and uplifts lives.
